All Domestic Energy Assessors need to have completed Level 3 certification in Domestic Energy Assessment. Once you are a qualified, you can join ecmk’s Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
accreditation scheme.
By joining you’ll have a licence to operate as a DEA and an effective means to lodge your EPCs to the Central Register, with the assurance of quality control. You will also gain access to other services ecmk has to offer.
ecmk has developed market leading software, which is free to use for ecmk accredited DEAs, enabling efficient production and official lodgement of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). The software is based on BRE approved calculation engine and designed to be used either online or offline, so work can still be done where no internet connection is available, such as on-site.
Once you are accredited, you can start to use the software straight away and you only pay for the lodgement fee, which can include a pay per click Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
